There will be an Inventor's Club meeting today,  from 3-4 p.m. in Mr. Hawkins' room.

Attention HOSA members:  All regional competitors need to confirm competitions with Mrs. Adkins or Mrs. Jeffers today, so you will be registered. 

Deadline for registering for the December 9 ACT is today.  Registration must be completed online at by the end of the day. 

Attention Juniors and Seniors:  ETSU will host Open House tomorrow, November 4th, 2017.  Discount ETSU football tickets are available to all registered students for $5.  If you are interested in attending, please visit the ETSU website to register for the event.

Starting next week, the Library will be holding a weekly trivia contest through the month of November for all students on our Morristown-Hamblen High School West Library Facebook page.  Check the page daily for a surprise trivia question.  Bring your answer to the library and be eligible to win a prize in a drawing made each week! 

Students, make plans to attend the Fall Festival and dance on Friday, November 10, from 5-9 p.m.  Tickets will be on sale Monday, November 6, through Thursday, November 9, from 3:00 - 3:30 p.m. in the main lobby.  Gather your friends and make some wonderful memories!

Thanksgiving Food Drive is going on through Fri. Nov. 17.  Please help those in our community who have a need for food this holiday season. 

TN Promise Volunteer Opportunity:  Friday Nov. 17 Seniors may meet Mrs. Whaley at Central Services from 3:30-5:00 to sort food.  Volunteers are always needed for this.   This is an easy opportunity for seniors to receive 1.5 volunteer hours toward TN Promise.  Please see Mrs. Whaley for more details and a form.

TN Promise deadline for completion is January 16.  The FAFSA also is the application for the Tennessee Hope Scholarship which is available tot students attending a college or university in Tennessee who scored a 21 on the ACT or have a 3.0 unweighted GPA.

The 13th annual Coat and Toy Drive for the Children of Hamblen County is now through December 15.  Please drop off new or gently used toys, coats, shoes (washable) and non-perishable food items in the container placed in the hall by the mural at near the front of the school.  This season become a blessing to others in our community who need your help.  Thank you for your support. 

Students going to get their driving permits must request a 1010 form from the front office 3 days in advance.  First form is free; $3 charge thereafter.  You do NOT need a 10101 form for a driver's license UNLESS your driver's permit is out of state.
