Anyone who had Mrs. Whaley last semester for Advanced Computer Applications, please stop by her classroom this week. Also, FBLA members attending state are reminded to please turn in money to Mrs. Whaley today. 

Mu Alpha Theta Math Club meeting today, 3:00 p.m., in Mrs. Dallemagne's room 425.  We will discuss the field trip and the Mu Alpha Theta's First Annual Math Competition.  There will also be forms for the Work Ethic Diploma and the possibility to sign up for new members just finishing Algebra 2. 

Applications for the Governor William Blount Scholars' program are due today.

West High Advanced Choir is presenting their annual Valentine concert this evening in the West High auditorium at 7:00 p.m.  Tickets are only $5 at the door.  So grab a date, friend or just anybody, and come hear some of your favorite love songs performed as only the West High Advanced Choir can sing them!

Auditions for this year's talent show are after school on Wednesday, February 28, in the auditorium.  Any interested students may sign up to audition between now and then in Rebecca Drinnon's room (Room 460), Jennifer Cobb's room (Room 470), or Amy Story's room (Room 710).  Prizes for the winners go up to $100.  Help us make this the best show ever!

There will be Inventors' Club meetings on Thursday, Feb. 15, and Friday, Feb. 16.

"Books and Breakfast" will meet in the library this Friday, Feb. 16, at 7:30 a.m.   You may use last week's morning hall pass, or come by the library to get a new one. 

If you are a Senior interested in serving tables at the Celebration of Tables dinner, please sign up in the counseling office.  This will give you 2 hours of community service.  Please sign up by March 1.

Any girl interested in trying out for the 2018-2019 cheerleading team needs to pick up a tryout packet in the front office.  There is a mandatory parent meeting Monday, March 12, at 6:00 p.m. for any and all who are trying out.

Students going to get their driving permits must request a 1010 form from the front office 3 days in advance.  First form is free, $3.00 charge thereafter.  You do NOT need a 1010 form for a driver's license UNLESS your driver's permit is out of state.

Seniors get one college day, but it MUST BE APPROVED BEFORE YOU GO.  See Ms. Ferguson for further instructions.
