Calling all artists!  You are invited to participate in the West High Early Postsecondary Week Logo contest. Simply create a design that highlights all the ways students can earn postsecondary credit while still in high school such as AP, Dual Enrollment, and Industry Certifications.  The winner will receive a $35.00 Amazon gift card, and their logo will be the "official"  EPSO logo for West High.  See your art teacher or Mr. Moreland for more details.

The Governor William Blount Scholars program will NOT meet tonight due to a scheduling conflict at  Blount Mansion.  Sessions will resume after Fall Break.  Please see Mr. Moreland for more information.

There will be tennis practice today 3:30 - 4:45, and a parent meeting at 6:00 at West High.  All players and parents must attend.

ANIME Club for this afternoon has been canceled.  We will see everyone the Thursday after fall break, Thursday, October 18.

Free flu shots are available for all Hamblen County students, younger siblings, and parents.  Locations are as follows:  Hillcrest Elementary, Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2:30 - 6:00 p.m., East High School, Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2:00 - 4:00 p.m., and Lincoln Heights Middle School, Thursday, Oct. 25, 2:30 - 6:00 p.m.  Flu shot consent foms may be completed at time of the clinic or picked up in advance in the main office.  For more information, call 586-6431. 

Calling all book lovers!  The public library has started a Teen Book Club.  The first meeting will be at Morristown Hamblen Public Library, Oct. 25, from 4-5 p.m.  The book for this month is "Pipestone:  My Life in an Indian Boarding School," by Adam Fortunate Eagle.  Get your free copy at the upper level circulation desk at the library before copies run out!
