Attention Seniors!  Any senior who has not turned in their senior signature needs to do so immediately.  Pick up the paper in Mrs. Cutshaw’s room (room 482) 1st, 2nd, and TNN or the yearbook room third or fourth block (room 447).  Please make sure you sign your signature and return it to the yearbook room (room 447) as soon as possible.  If you have any questions, see Mrs. Cutshaw or visit the yearbook room fourth block. 

If you received a letter to meet with Dr. Perry on Wednesday after school, please don't forget!  If you can't attend, please tell the counseling office.

"Books and Breakfast" will meet this Friday, Nov. 16, at 7:30, in the library.  Hall passes will be delivered on Wednesday.  If you do not receive one  by lunchtime on Thursday, come by the library to get one.  If you have not paid your dues, please do so at this meeting.

Morristown West needs your help sorting Thanksgiving boxes at Central Services this Friday, Nov. 16, from 3:30 - 5:00 p.m.  Please report to Central Services to help sort food in our school box donations.  You will receive 1.5 hours of TN Promise credit.  Central Services is located at 2450 S Cumberland St.  Please see Mrs. Whaley for more info.

FCCLA is taking up new pairs of socks now until November 30, for "Socktober."  There are hundreds, even thousands, of kids in our own community who don't have anything to keep them warm, so please donate new pairs of socks to help them.  The boxes are located within the school in Ms. Ripley's, Ms. Adam's, Coach Noble's, Ms. Walker's, and Mrs. Sedlack's room.

Rock of Refuge Church will be having their 25th annual "Coats for the cold Giveaway" on Dec. 1.  If you have a coat you would like to donate for this special project, place it in the barrel located in the front lobby.  Please try and bring in a coat to help someone that may need one for the winter.  Each coat will be greatly appreciated.

 

This year the West High Yearbook Staff  is holding a contest to encourage students to send in their photos.  The student with the best photo will win a free yearbook and be featured with their photo in the book.  All photos must be submitted by January 15, 2019.  Photos may be entered by using the Balfour Image Share app and our program code, 929306.  For more information, feel free to pick up the Photo Contest information sheet in the yearbook room, 447, or outside Mrs. Cutshaw's room, 482.  The Yearbook Staff does not guarantee that any photos for submission.   Photos must be school-appropriate and relevant to school or school interests, cannot be a copyrighted image, logo, or registered trade mark, and must be the work of the person submitting the photo  If you have concerns about the content of your photo, please see a responsible adult and confirm their approval before sending that photo in.
