Tennis practice today at the Country Club, 3:30 - 5:00.

The library has books that are being discarded and are free to students.  Come by at your convenience to see them and give some a forever home!  Also, "Blind Date with a Book," is back!  Come by the library and check out a book from our display as your "blind date," rate your date on an entry slip and be eligible to win a prize.  Grand prize is a movie gift card for two!  

If you are interested in the Morristown Police Department's Explorer program, please see Officer Reed for an application.  You must have had Criminal Justice 1 and be 16 years old. 

Students assigned to detention today should report promptly at 3:05 to room 431, which is the ALP room.  Students arriving after that time will not be admitted.  Students must bring something with them to read or work on.  Failure to serve a tardy or administrative detention will result in the student being placed on the next level of the assertive discipline plan.

Ms. Cobb is organizing a trip to Puerto Rico for summer 2020, and you're invited! There will be a parent meeting today at 6:30 pm for anyone interested.  To pick up your invitation to the meeting or for more information, see Ms. Cobb in room 470. 

Men's soccer tryouts will be Monday, Feb. 11, at Burke Toney, from 3:30 - 5:30.  You must have a current school physical to tryout.  If you make the team, there will be a mandatory parent/player meeting the next day, Tuesday, Feb. 12, at 6:30 in the school cafeteria.

Attention Track Team and Anyone interested in track:   Apparel fittings will be on Friday, February 8, 2019, at 3:20. You must be there for sizing if you want to order track apparel.   All track paperwork and DragonflyMax information must be turned in and completed today.   Mandatory practice begins on Monday, February 11, 2019, at 3:20.

The Art Contest for the 2019 Project Graduation celebration is now underway.  Project Graduation needs a great design to go on the front of our t-shirts this year!  You can draw or design anything that is descriptive of the Class of 2019 and the winner will receive a $100 cash prize.  All entries are due by Friday, February 8.  See Mrs. Deena Reed for entry forms.  

 Attention Senior Beta and NHS members:  Graduation is less than 4 months away!  If you are a Beta or NHS member in good standing and would like to purchase a graduation stole, tassel, or honor cord, please see the board outside Mrs. Bowen's room for details.  Registration for the March Beta Summit is due Feb. 12.
