Tennis practice today, 3:30 - 4:30, at the Country Club, if it is not raining.

Anyone who is interested in peer tutoring next year needs to get an application from the tray on the counter in the front office. 

Students assigned to detention today should report promptly at 3:05 to room 431, which is the ALP room.  Students arriving after that time will not be admitted.  Students must bring something with them to read or work on.  Failure to serve a tardy or administrative detention will result in the student being placed on the next level of the assertive discipline plan.

Seniors- If you received a letter about Walters State Verification Day, please remember to bring that information with you to school tomorrow, Feb. 21!

HOSA members:  There will be a brief meeting on tomorrow, Feb. 21, at 3:05 in Mrs. Adkins' room.  We will discuss state competition and the upcoming blood drive.  This is mandatory for all state competitors.

National Art Honor Society, 3:10 p.m. – 4:10 p.m., tomorrow, Feb. 21.

FBLA will meet after school this tomorrow, Feb. 21,  to go over more details on state competition in Chattanooga, TN.

Inventor’s Club Meeting, 3:00 p.m., Friday, Feb. 22.

Students and their families are invited to attend the Future Ready Expo at the WSCC Smoky Mountain Expo Center on Thursday, February 28th, from 3:30-6:00 p.m. During that time the event will be a combination career fair and job fair. This is a hands on interactive event featuring the Tennessee Tech STEM Mobile, a Formula 1 race car, and a wide variety of exhibitors from the Health and Medical professions field, Advanced Manufacturing sector, Trade and Industry, and Informational Technology and Business. Remember, "Its Your Future... Be Ready!" The junior and senior TNN classes with the highest participation will be awarded with a pizza party.

Jostens will be in the cafeteria on March 13, to distribute Senior supplies that have been paid.  This includes caps and gowns.  Seniors:  if you have not ordered your cap and gown, please do so as soon as possible.  You still have time to order it online and have it delivered with the March 13 delivery. 

 

Attention Senior Beta and NHS members:  Graduation is less than 4 months away!  If you are a Beta or NHS member in good standing and would like to purchase a graduation stole, tassel, or honor cord, please see the board outside Mrs. Bowen's room for details. 

 

Attention Students: A 1010 form must be requested in the front office 3 days in advance for your driver's permit. 1st form for the school year is free, $3.00 charge thereafter. 1010 form is not required for driver's license unless your driver's permit is out of state.
