Students who received information about Walters State Verification Day-- please remember Walters State will be here tomorrow morning April 9th to complete the work with you.  Bring the information that Walters State needed from you.  If you have questions, go see Emily Ray in the counseling office today!

Do you know how to read and write cursive?  If not, you may be interested in learning!  Join us in Mr. McLaughlin's room, tomorrow, April 9, at 3:10 for a 30 minute class on reading and writing cursive.  Snacks will be provided!  See Mr. McLaughlin's to sign up or ask questions. 

Applications for the open class officer positions on next year's Student Council are due tomorrow, April 9th at 3:30 p.m.  Only the positions listed on the pink addendum to the application are currently accepting new candidates! You can get an application from Ms.Cobb, Mrs. Story, or in the front office.   All new applicants for Student Council must meet in Ms. Cobb's room 470 Tuesday at either 7:30 a.m. or 3:05 p.m. to be eligible to run. 

Prom tickets will be on sale this week, April 8-12, after school in the front lobby.  A single ticket is $25, and a couple's ticket is $45.  Only cash will be accepted.  Please contact Mrs. Story in room 710 if you have questions.

There will be a FFA meeting Thursday, April 11. 

The last meeting of Books and Breakfast will be Friday, Apr. 12, in the library at 7:30-7:50.  Please let Ms. Long or Mrs. Szatkowski know by Wednesday, April 10,  if you plan to attend, so we can get a head count for providing food.  

The Hamblen County Retired Teachers Scholarship in the amount of $350 is available to any senior interested in pursuing a degree in Education.  Applications are available in the Counseling Office.  Deadline is April 15, 2019.

The Yamaoka Scholarship deadline has been moved to April 17, 2019. Please submit your appliction to the Counseling Office.  If you are a JUNIOR and you are interested in taking welding, machining or Introduction to Electromechanical and you HAVE NOT taken Priniciples of Manufacturing, please see your counselor to sign up for this class.

Attention anyone interested in sports at West next year:  the upcoming annual physicals at Rehab Group will be on Friday, April 19,from 9:00a-1:00p  (Good Friday, we're out of school). Cost is $20. 

Attention Students: A 1010 form must be requested in the front office 3 days in advance for your driver's permit. 1st form for the school year is free, $3.00 charge thereafter. 1010 form is not required for driver's license unless your driver's permit is out of state.
