The Beta Club and The National Honor Society are selling DVDs made by a professional videographer who can produce a quality DVD that will be edited to include shots from several cameras set up at the Smoky Mountain Expo Center.  Forms are outside Mrs. Bowen's room.

There will be a Beta and National Honor Society meeting today after school in the library.

Do you know how to read and write cursive?  If not, you may be interested in learning!  Join us in Mr. McLaughlin's room, today, at 3:10 for a 30 minute class on reading and writing cursive.  Snacks will be provided!  See Mr. McLaughlin's to sign up or ask questions. 

Applications for the open class officer positions on next year's Student Council are due today at 3:30 p.m.  Only the positions listed on the pink addendum to the application are currently accepting new candidates! You can get an application from Ms.Cobb, Mrs. Story, or in the front office.   All new applicants for Student Council must meet in Ms. Cobb's room 470 today at 3:05, if you didn't come to the morning meeting, to be eligible to run. 

Prom tickets will be on sale this week, April 8-12, after school in the front lobby.  A single ticket is $25, and a couple's ticket is $45.  Only cash will be accepted.  Please contact Mrs. Story in room 710 if you have questions.

There will be a FFA meeting Thursday, April 11. 

Inventor's Club meeting will be Friday, April 12.

The last meeting of Books and Breakfast will be Friday, Apr. 12, in the library at 7:30-7:50.  Please let Ms. Long or Mrs. Szatkowski know by Wednesday, April 10,  if you plan to attend, so we can get a head count for providing food.  

The Hamblen County Retired Teachers Scholarship in the amount of $350 is available to any senior interested in pursuing a degree in Education.  Applications are available in the Counseling Office.  Deadline is April 15, 2019.

The Yamaoka Scholarship deadline has been moved to April 17, 2019. Please submit your appliction to the Counseling Office.  If you are a JUNIOR and you are interested in taking welding, machining or Introduction to Electromechanical and you HAVE NOT taken Priniciples of Manufacturing, please see your counselor to sign up for this class.

Attention anyone interested in sports at West next year:  the upcoming annual physicals at Rehab Group will be on Friday, April 19,from 9:00a-1:00p  (Good Friday, we're out of school). Cost is $20. 

Attention Students: A 1010 form must be requested in the front office 3 days in advance for your driver's permit. 1st form for the school year is free, $3.00 charge thereafter. 1010 form is not required for driver's license unless your driver's permit is out of state.
