West Tennis Teams split with Greeneville High School yesterday.  The boys won 5-4 and the girls were defeated 9-0.  Winners for the boys were Matthew Salansky, Ian Sexton, Noah Martin, and Daniel Phillips.  Practice today for the top six at 3:30 - 4:30.  The rest of the team will come at 4:15 - 5:00. 

Attention Seniors:  If you have been awarded a scholarship and wish to be recognized at Honors Day, please return your scholarship form to the Counseling Office.

The Beta Club and The National Honor Society are selling DVDs made by a professional videographer who can produce a quality DVD that will be edited to include shots from several cameras set up at the Smoky Mountain Expo Center.  Forms are outside Mrs. Bowen's room.

The Matt Seals Memorial Scholarship is due today.  Scholarship requirements include a 2.0 grade point average, in the custody of a single parent, relative or guardian and a short two paragraph essay describing your goals.  Please turn applications into the Counseling Office.  

Prom tickets will be on sale through today, after school in the front lobby.  A single ticket is $25, and a couple's ticket is $45.  Only cash will be accepted.  Please contact Mrs. Story in room 710 if you have questions.

Inventor's Club meeting will be today.

The Hamblen County Retired Teachers Scholarship in the amount of $350 is available to any senior interested in pursuing a degree in Education.  Applications are available in the Counseling Office.  Deadline is April 15, 2019.

Attention Seniors:  Work Ethic diploma folders are due April 15th to your TNN.  Tennessee Scholar forms are due April 15th to Mrs. Howerton in the Counseling Office.

 The Yamaoka Scholarship deadline has been moved to April 17, 2019. Please submit your application to the Counseling Office.  If you are a JUNIOR and you are interested in taking welding, machining or Introduction to Electromechanical and you HAVE NOT taken Priniciples of Manufacturing, please see your counselor to sign up for this class.

Attention anyone interested in sports at West next year:  the upcoming annual physicals at Rehab Group will be on Friday, April 19,from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.  (Good Friday, we're out of school). Cost is $20.
