Recycling team meeting will be after school today in room 366, Dr. Sauceman's room.  The meeting will only last 10 minutes.  Everyone is welcome!

Any student who wants to play tennis this year needs to come to a short meeting in room 700 today, immediately after school. 

Students assigned to detention today should report promptly at 3:05 to room 431, which is the ALP room.  Students arriving after that time will not be admitted.  Students must bring something with them to read or work on.  Failure to serve a tardy or administrative detention will result in the student being placed on the next level of the assertive discipline plan. 

The "Books and Breakfast" Club is starting soon.  Anyone interested should come by the library this week for more information and to sign up for breakfast. 

"Want to make some extra cash? Do you like helping others with math? Let Mr. McLaughlin know that you are interested in being a math tutor! He will help connect you to other students who want a helping hand. Come by his room and he will connect you with a client."

HOSA Members:  Dues must be paid by Friday, Sept. 6

Beta Club dues and membership form must be returned by September 6.  Please see Mrs. Owens or Mrs. Bowen if you need more information. The 1st meeting will be Tuesday, September 10, after school in the library.  The meeting will last 10 minutes.  All previous and new members are required to attend. 

Anime Club will meet in Ms. Hall's room Thursday, Sept. 5, 3:00-4:00.  Everyone is invited to attend. 

The PSAT Test will be given at West on Wednesday, October 30th. If you are a Sophomore or Junior you can register for the test in the counseling office. The fee for the test is 17.00. Please register by September 13th. This is the National Merit Qualifying Exam for Juniors.

The Five Rivers College Fair permission slips are due in the Counseling Office by September 18th! The Fair is Sept. 23.

The Tusculum University Upward Bound Program is now accepting applications.  Upward Bound is an intensive college preparatory program designed to help students succeed in high school and prepare for success in college.  UB offers enrichment activities and academic assistance as well as a residential summer component for students.  All services are FREE for students that are selected for the program.  For more information or for an application, stop by the guidance office.  All interested freshmen and sophomores are encouraged to apply. 

Seniors are allowed ONE college day. It must be pre-approved.  See Ms. Ferguson at least two days before you go.
