The "Books and Breakfast" Club is this Friday.  Anyone interested should come by the library today or tomorrow for more information and to sign up for breakfast. 

There will be a brief meeting tomorrow afternoon at 3:10 in Dr. Sauceman's room, room 366, for anyone interested in joining the Recycling Team!! Please make plans to attend or drop by and speak with Dr. Sauceman if unable to attend.

Beta Club meeting will be tomorrow, after school, in the library.  All previous and new members are required to attend.  If you are a new member and have not received your invitation, please see Mrs. Owens or Mrs. Bowen today. 

There will be a mandatory HOSA meeting on Thurs., Sept. 12, in Mrs. Adkins room.  

Students enrolled in Teaching as a Profession I/II who would be interested in teaching elementary students twice a week after school should see Mrs. Scariano in room 379 before September 13.  

The PSAT Test will be given at West on Wednesday, October 30th. If you are a Sophomore or Junior you can register for the test in the counseling office. The fee for the test is 17.00. Please register by September 13th. This is the National Merit Qualifying Exam for Juniors.

The Five Rivers College Fair permission slips are due in the Counseling Office by September 18th! The Fair is Sept. 23.

The Tusculum University Upward Bound Program is now accepting applications.  Upward Bound is an intensive college preparatory program designed to help students succeed in high school and prepare for success in college.  UB offers enrichment activities and academic assistance as well as a residential summer component for students.  All services are FREE for students that are selected for the program.  For more information or for an application, stop by the guidance office.  All interested freshmen and sophomores are encouraged to apply. 

A 1010 form must be requested in the front office 3 days in advance for your driver's PERMIT.  First form for the school year is free, $3.00 charge thereafter.  1010 form is not required for drvier's LICENSE unless your drvier's PERMIT is out of state.
