Congratulations to Nina Hodges and Halyn Long, winners of this year's EPSO Week art contest.  In addition to designing the "official" West High EPSO logo, they also won a $35.00 Amazon gift card.  Thanks to all of our participants!

ANIME CLUB will meet today, in Ms. Hall's room.  The meeting scheduled for Thursday, November 7, has been canceled.

Tennis practice for anyone interested in playing this year will be today, 3:30, at the Country Club.  There will also be a short meeting tomorrow after school.

We have a container in the front lobby outside the main office for "Coats for the Cold."  If you have a coat you no longer use, we would greatly appreciate it if you could bring your coat and drop it in the container to help another person in our community that doesn't have one.  We have so many people in our community in need of a coat:  adults and children.  Every donation will be given to someone that will greatly appreciate it.

Students assigned to detention today should report promptly at 3:05 to room 431, which is the ALP room.  Students arriving after that time will not be admitted.  Students must bring something with them to read or work on.  Failure to serve a tardy or administrative detention will result in the student being placed on the next level of the assertive discipline plan.

There will be an Inventor's Club meeting tomorrow, Nov. 1, at normal time.

Dual Enrollment packets for next semester are available in the Counseling Office. Packets are due November 6th.

There will be a Fall Ball dance in the cafeteria next Friday night, November 8th, from 5-9pm. Students from ALL grade levels are welcome, and we hope to see everyone there! Tickets will be $7 in advance, sold Monday-Thursday after school in the front lobby, or $10 at the door on Friday night. Dress is casual to semi-formal. School dress code will be enforced. Come join us for a night of fun with dancing, games, and a chance to win one of our door prizes!  If you have a song request to add to the list for the DJ at the Fall Ball, please give your suggestions to a Student Council member or send to Jennifer Cobb via Schoology or email at cobbj@hcboe.net by Friday, Nov. 1st.
