HOSA would like to thank all Medic blood donors for supporting the blood drive last week. Congratulations to the following students that won a gift card for their participation:  Zachary Cameron, Emily Clements, Caleb Cornett, Lorena Coxanteje, Ashley Dotson, Sammy Olguin, Crystal Partin, Johnny Ramos, Alex Salvalagio, and Brandon Turner.  Please stop by Mrs. Adkins room this week to pick up your gift card!

There are FREE books available on a cart outside the library door.  Come get some great reads before they are all gone!

There will NOT be an Inventor's Club meeting this Friday.  

Cheerleading Tryouts are March 30-April 3. Any girl interested in trying out needs to pick up a tryout packet in the main office. There is a mandatory meeting Monday, March 16th to attend in order to tryout.  

The Graduation list for Honors and Distinction is posted on the window of the Main Office. Seniors need to check the list and let their Counselor know if any changes need to be made. Deadline to check and notify your Counselor of any change is next Wednesday, March 18th!

The Talent Show is coming up soon! Student Council will be hosting auditions for this year's Talent Show after ACT testing on March 17th during the school day OR after school on Thursday, March 19. You must see Ms. Cobb in room 470 to sign up for a time slot and get instructions. We're looking for talent of ALL kinds: singers, dancers, comedians, magicians, actors, poets; come show us what you've got!

Seniors: Jostens will be here in the cafeteria on March 19th to distribute senior supplies to seniors that have paid. If you have not paid and would like to pick up your supplies on March 19th, you will have the opportunity to complete your payment at that time.

Hey rising sophomores, juniors and seniors! Are you interested in communications? Well, if you are then you should join West Side Story Staff. You could write articles and update them on for thousands of viewers to see. You could model and sell ads during fourth period. You will also learn how to manage a web site and practice business communication skills. Please pick up an application outside of Mrs. Whaley’s room #386.

Attention upcoming sophomores, juniors and seniors:   are you organized, dependable, creative and have computer skills? Do you have good writing skills and can stay after school on occasion? Then we have a great opportunity for you! Apply to be on the Astron Yearbook Staff for the next school year. Pick up an application outside Mrs. Cutshaw’s room 482 or outside the yearbook room 447.

A 1010 form must be requested in the front office 3 days in advance for your driver's PERMIT.  First form for the school year is free, $3.00 charge thereafter.  A 1010 form is NOT required for driver's LICENSE, unless your driver's PERMIT is out of state.
