I graduated high school from Daniel Boone High School in Gray, TN. I was very active in the FFA and decided to further my education in the field of agriculture. I moved to Morristown and attended Walters State Community College graduating with a associate degree in agricultural education. I moved on to the University of Tennessee graduating with a bachelors degree in agricultural education. I absolutely love, love, love my job. Since i have been at West High i feel that i have grown as an educator, i have a great group of kids and we have a great time in class. I introduced a new class called Floral Design , this class has taken off and has been very successful i am so excited. Also, i applied for a grant to lowes for a "Trout in the classroom project", i earned four thousand dollars, this money is going to fund my classroom with a working aquarium for one hundred rainbow trout, we will hatch the trout and then release the fish in the spring. I am so excited for this school year, and for the students I'm going to be working with. I hope for a fun and successful school year!!

I'm the new Agriculture teacher here at West High, I'm very excited about being here.
