Bio

Born in Knoxville, TN, Douglas attended Carter High School. Upon graduation he attended Carson-Newman College where he earned a B.A. in Biology, followed by a M.A.T. in Curriculum and Instruction. In 2003 he earned a Ed.S degree in Administration and Supervision from Lincoln Memorial University. Douglas taught at Sevier County High School for 6 years prior to joining the staff at Morristown-Hamblen High School West. Douglas has worked at Morristown-Hamblen High School West since 2003, where he teaches AP Biology, Honors Anatomy & Physiology and Honors Physical Science. He has also taught Biology I and II, and Chemistry. He currently serves on the HSTW Leadership committee, SACS/SIP Committee 5 Co-Chair, and as Science Department Chairman.
