Principles of Agricultural Sciences Syllabus

Welcome to Principles of Agricultural Sciences. I hope that you will find this course fun, interesting, and beneficial. This course is within the Agricultural Education Program. Listed below are the topics that will be covered in this course. Principles of Agricultural Sciences is designed to develop the basic theories and principals involved in animal science, agribusiness, agricultural mechanics, and natural resource management. The standards prepare students to choose among agricultural careers for the21st century.

Each student in this course must show proof of medical insurance.

Students are expected to join FFA; this is the school youth organization related to this course. Dues of the FFA are 13.00$. Dues are not allowed to be waived.

Grading rules for 9 week period are as follow; Test/ quizzes- 50%, Class participation work and Greenhouse Lab 50%.
