State Standards are applicable to all activities & areas of study in this Classical language. Three texts are employed: ZLatin for Americans, Ecci Romani & Harper-Collins Latin Dictionary

Academic Areas Stressed in Latin I & II:

1. Latin Grammar

2. Greek & Latin Roots / Derivations

3. Practical Latin as used in moder world

4. Classical history, society & culture

Grading: 100% of grade is based upon tests & quizzes


U.S. History Regular:

This course spans the time period 1877 to the present. Instruction is aligned with TN state standards for U.S. History. The course is a prerequisite for high school graduation. Textbooks are used as a reference source in clas only and are not issed to students unless they request this. 


Approximately 80% Tests

Approximately 20% End of Course Test Preparation Exercises & Projects
