Jostens will be here today during lunch to collect money for Senior supplies.

Governor William Blount Scholars will meet at 5:30 tonight at Blount Mansion in Knoxville.  Tonight's focus is on Native American History.  For more information, see Mr. Moreland in room 700.  This is not a school sponsored event, and students are responsible for their own transportation.

The Inventor's Club meeting has been changed from Friday to today. There will NOT be a meeting on Friday.  All members who can attend today are encouraged to do so.  The meeting will be in Mr. Hawkins' room (534) on the CTE hallway.

There will be a HOSA meeting today, at 3:05 in room 578 (Mrs. Adkins room). We will be discussing a corn maze trip and competitions.

Interact club will be having their first meeting, today, after school in Ms. Bailiff's room (Room 355). Anyone interested in joining should attend. We will be discussing service projects for the year.

Beta Members wishing to compete at the state convention must fill out a permission slip and pay a deposit by tomorrow, September 28. Forms are outside Mrs. Bowen's room.

FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) will have its second meeting on Monday, Oct. 1, after school in Mrs. Whaley's classroom.  The dues are $12 and should be paid before or at the meeting.  All students are invited to attend.

The results are in for this year's Spanish Club officers: Historian - Maria Silva, Treasurer - Alondra Gonzalez, Vice President - Guadalupe Martinez, and President - Selena Case.  Congratulations!  There will be an officer's meeting for these students on Tuesday, October 16th, after school in Mr. Parker's room. 


Picture retakes for ALL students, including Seniors, will be October 3.  Any student or faculty member that did not have their picture taken may do so on this date.  Seniors will have a $25 sitting fee that covers the cost of the proofs and the use of the formal attire.  Only students that purchased pictures and did not like their pictures should come to the auditorium for retakes.  You will need to bring your pictures back to the photographer to have them remade.


Please remember, a 1010 form must be requested in the front office 3 days in advance for your driver's PERMIT.  The first form for the school year is free, $3.00 charge thereafter.  1010 form is NOT required for driver's LICENSE, unless your driver's PERMIT is out of state.
