Tennis practice today, 3:30 - 4:30.

Escorts for Basketball homecoming will need to meet during 1st period tomorrow, Feb. 7, in Mrs. Sedlack's room (46 Freshmen Academy) for a dress check.  Escorts who have dual enrollment during first will meet in the library second period. 

Seniors:  Project Graduation t-shirt designs are due on Feb. 7.  Winning designer receives $100 prize!  Turn designs in to Mrs. Reed or Mrs. Gatlin.

"Books and Breakfast" will meet in the library this Friday, Feb. 9, at 7:30 a.m.  We will be doing a group picture for the yearbook at this time.  Stop by the library to get your morning pass if you haven't received it by Thursday.

Are you interested in learning about history through hands-on experiences in a beautiful and historic setting?  If so, you should consider the Governor William Blount Scholars' program.  Meetings are Thursday evenings at Blount Mansion in Knoxville, beginning February 15.  See Mr. Moreland in room 700 for more information!  Applications are due by Monday, Feb. 12.

Are you looking for the perfect date for Valentine's Day?  Back by popular demand is the library's annual "Blind Date with a Book" contest.  Come by the library during the month of February, unwrap one of our mystery books, and take a chance at finding a new favorite, plus be eligible to win a prize! 

If you are a Senior interested in serving tables at the Celebration of Tables dinner, please sign up in the counseling office.  This will give you 2 hours of community service.  Please sign up by March 1.

Any girl interested in trying out for the 2018-2019 cheerleading team needs to pick up a tryout packet in the front office.  There is a mandatory parent meeting Monday, March 12, at 6:00 p.m. for any and all who are trying out.
