The 2021-2022 Free Application For Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is now open for completion! Students must complete the 2020-2021 FAFSA by 11:59 PM on February 1, 2021 for TN Promise eligibility and to receive other state and federal financial aid. Prior to completing the FAFSA, students and parents will need to create an FSA ID username and password.

- Attend a Live Virtual Workshop. THEC/TSAC offers two virtual workshops every week where a Tennessee FAFSA expert walks students through completing the FAFSA. Students can register for a workshop here.
- Contact Us. If students need additional assistance completing the FAFSA, they can reach out to THEC/TSAC staff at FAFSA.Help@tn.gov. In the coming weeks, THEC/TSAC will a FAFSA hotline to provide a direct point of contact for students and their families to receive FAFSA help.
