West High is having a Water Drive (cases) for victims of Hurricane Florence.  Students are encouraged to bring in cases of water today-Friday.

Need an after-school place to do homework, Internet research, or just a quiet place to read while you wait for your ride?  The library is offering extended hours this semester, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7:25 - 7:50 and 3:20 - 3:45.

The following students may claim their gift cards in the cafeteria:  Luis Rios--2  $10 giftcards to O'Charley's, Christian yates--2 free buffets @ Golden Corral, Lauren Kangchan--$10 off @ In/Out Pizza, Dallas Dawson--dinner for 2 @ Hillbilly Cabin.  See Dena Roach to claim your gift card.

ANIME CLUB is meeting after school today in Ms. Hall's room in the Freshman wing.  Everyone is invited to attend!

Students assigned to detention today should report promptly at 3:05 to room 431, which is the ALP room.  Students arriving after that time will not be admitted.  Students must bring something with them to read or work on.  Failure to serve a tardy or administrative detention will result in the student being placed on the next level of the assertive discipline plan.

Tennis practice will be today, 3:30 - 5:00 at the Country Club.  Also, there will be a parents' meeting, Oct. 4, at West High, at 6:00 p.m.

Seniors, Jostens will be here to take your orders for graduation supplies on today, Sept. 20, during lunch, in the cafeteria and 3:00 - 6:00 in the main lobby.  Please bring your order form and 1st payment on Thursday to get your senior gear.  Extra packets are in the main office.  Juniors, you can still order your class ring, also.

Beta Members wishing to compete at the state convention must fill out a permission slip and pay a deposit by September 28. Forms are outside Mrs. Bowen's room.
