Calling all artists! You are invited to participate in the West High Early Postsecondary Week Logo contest. Simply create a design that highlights all the ways students can earn postsecondary credit while still in high school such as AP, Dual Enrollment, and Industry Certifications. The winner will receive a $35.00 Amazon gift card, and their logo will be the “official” EPSO logo for West High. See your art teacher, or Mr. Moreland for more details.

FCCLA members need to pay their dues by tomorrow. The next meeting will be October 21 right after school in Mrs. Scariano's room. 

Math Club will meet Wednesday, October 9, in Mr Hawkins Room 534, to prepare for the engineering competition. 

There will be a HOSA meeting  on Thurs. Oct. 10 at 3:05 in Adkins room 578.  All members must attend or see Mrs. Adkins or Mrs. Skeen before the meeting.

Tennis practice is Thursday, at the Country Club, 3:30 - 5:00.

Dollywood has expressed an immediate need for seasonal part time workers.  If any students or teachers are interested, this interview will take place Thursday, Oct. 10, starting at 3:00 pm at Central office.  Students will be paid $10 per hour and must work 2 shifts per week.  Family passes are given to those who work at Dollywood.

"Books and Breakfast" will meet this Friday, Oct. 11, in the library at 7:30 a.m.  Please have your $10 membership fee paid by this date, or bring your own breakfast.  Invitations will go out Wednesday.  These should be used for early morning passes to get into the building on Friday.  

Governor's School for the Arts applications are due November 8th. Please come to the Counseling Office to pick up an application or ask any questions you have about the program.  

A 1010 form must be requested in the front office 3 days in advance for your driver's PERMIT.  First form for the school year is free, $3.00 charge thereafter.  1010 form is not required for driver's LICENSE unless your driver's PERMIT is out of state.
